Ah, I see now, the iPod input goes into an amp...I thought you wired it into the AM radio, that was what I was interested in.
Much simpler the way you did it.

Re: Stereo system
That link leads to an awesome install for sure. I didn't go that route though. I left my AM radio in tact and attached to the dash speaker so it still operates in it's original design (minus the AM powered rear speaker). The real stereo is not a stereo at all. I have NO headunit installed and inste...

Re: The skinny on Grave Yard Cars
Yeah, I haven't read Rex's page, but from nearly all accounts, everyone seems to be looking for more than he is owed. No doubt that GYC dropped the ball and they let an inferior product go out, but like you said Mark seems very willing to try and make it right. I don't think what he's asked for from...

Re: Why wasn't the 440 available with a 4 spd after 1972?
Likely a matter of sales.
They probably weren't getting many orders for 4-speeds in 71-72, and with the dropping of the Hemi, they decided to stop offering it as a choice.
I'd be interested to see if any 4-speed cars made it out of the factory.

Re: Correct side marker lenses for RR -72
To the best of my knowledge all of yours should have the silver/chrome metal paint. Age, car washings, rubbing etc. wears the silver/chrome off, and they look normal to you because you forget they came with them or you're a young pup who never saw them brand new. I'm not sure if Chrysler later on i...

Re: Part compatability for a 71 RR
The e-body panel will work...only difference I know of is a cosmetic contour difference near the hood hinge area...I don't remember which side. I don't know why they are different but I noticed it at Carsile a couple of years ago when I was trying to find the differences.

Re: Fender mounted turn signal indicators
Plymouth fender or hood mounted turn signal were body colored in 1971-72, Dodge's were chromed but the same smaller size. 1973-74 were larger chromed turn signal for both makes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/wanna72rr/melbourne/IMG_2955.jpg Thanks!! Re: Fender mounted turn signal indicators
Odd, I assumed they were the more standard chrome units. My car is missing them too and thought I would also be looking for the chrome units.
Thanks for the heads-up.
This is what Year-One shows as correct....yeah, $408.00

Trying to find my old '74 RoadRunner
Looking to see if I can track down my old '74 RR. It was a 400/727, black, bucket seats, column shift, red stripes. Had a 383 in it when I sold it back in 1992, but had a date-matched 400 with the car. A recent search showed that it went up on an auction website out of WV last May. VIN # RM21P4G1087...
