Re: your Daily Driver Vehicle
Damn 72runner - love your color
Daily driver is an 07 Charger Daytona - which is getting a lot of treatments here this fall - Cold Air, underdrive pully, SLP LM2 exhaust, the 71 RR is getting discs up front, new hinges on the doors, 3.55 suregrip in rear and some tranny work so far.

Sloppy steering
yes I know, very common, mostly due to worn out rag joint.
So what have you done about it? How to tighten up the sloppy handling from the front end? tell me about the mild to the wild as I want to start planning. Pictures too
Thanks

Re: Windsheild
Got my windshield from Binswanger (sp?) just a few weeks ago, $221 installed with a tinted top stripe. one of the older guys came to do it. and he helped me clean a bit of corrosion off the bottom corners after we cleaned it up. we wire brushed it, sealed it and primered then he sealed with new seal...

Re: Door Check Parts
I just received a brand new set of hinges ( upper and lower ) for my 71. AMD released them a week or so ago, Mancini had the lowest prices, $229 for the 4 piece set. These are brand new not refurbs

Re: How to tell which rearend you have?
So I've reached the point where I'm thinking about upgrading the rear. Now that I know which rearend I have, 8 3/4 I have also found out I have a 3.23 non-suregrip center section 741 case, the boss stamp is 2070741 I'm wanting to move up to 3.55 with posi/suregrip. will I find that in a 741 case, or...

Re: added another mopar to the stable
Funny thing about those wheels, they are stock, came on the Daytona's and were optional on the R/Ts. These are 20" Chrome "cladded" wheels, notice the word in qoutes lol So what they are is aluminum wheels with a plastic chromed cover over them, held by the nuts, or for a better word " hubcaps " hah...

Re: added another mopar to the stable
nope, found this one in Pineville NC at Steve Moore Chevrolet. Seems the car was given to NSCAR driver Joey Legano and he gave it to his sister and she just traded it for a new camaro. it's immaculate except the windshield has fine pitting, I'll wait a few months and let the insurance co know a rock...

added another mopar to the stable
SO I have been enjoying, completely the start of the cruisin and show season so far, in the Blue Bird. So much so I had to add another mopar after running into a few good examples at the various shows. I picked up a 2007 Dodge Charger Daytona, in Plum Crazy. Number 1271 of 1400. I tried like hell to...

Re: Challenge for the smart people
Ok here it is! I will have to grind off just a smidge on the passenger fender lip to ensure no scrub. 4.5 inch backspacing would have been better than the 4.25 but this wheel was not offered with that. What do you guys think? I love it, I also pulled the broken air shocks and the fitted coild spring...

Re: Challenge for the smart people
Ok went ahead and bought the ION Wheels 625 series, 15x7 up front and 15x8 out back. Surprised to find they are coming out of an NC dist center so I may actually have them to put under the tree to me!! Let's hope I got the specs right and accomplish my goal, will post pics when I get them on, lots o...
