Re: Startin to work on the Clone Runner (it's PAINTED!)

71Beeper - First of all a lot of Great Work and thanks for the pictorial updates. Just keep in mind, the turn signal housing requires a GOOD ground to work properly. You will have to scrape some of the paint off at to top mounting screw. Or make some other provisions for grounding.

Re: turn signal issue

Check the grounding of the turn signal housing to the body. Make a jumper and ground directly to the battery and the other end go straight to the bulb holder of the turn signal. If it eliminates the problem, you will have to back track to find where you are losing the ground. These old Mopars are no...

Re: Removing (separating) upper control arms

If you have a stubborn one, I have placed a hammer on one side while hitting the other side of the knuckle with a second hammer. I use usually place the heavier hammer against the knuckle and hit the opposite side with the lighter one.

Re: My new wheels

Nice car, love the color combo. The wheels look good and compliment the car. Have any other pics of the car?

Re: 2 Tone 72 RR and the 72 Option and Accessory Report

2Tone72RR - this is a great color combination! I had a 72 SSP back in 72 with this color combo, except it had a green vinyl top very close to your car's top color. I looked great on that Satellite and will look great on your car when completed. Good luck with your build.

Re: A few updated pictures of the chicken

Thanks for the pics, looks like a nice installation. I would not have thought you would need to tighten the mounting bolts so tight to keep the vibration down. Was the foam gasket soft or was it kind of hard material?

Nice touch. Looks great. What gauges did you use, what size? Any pics of them and the way you mounted them?

Re: Did I just pay Legendary to recover the wrong panels?!

My 71 RR measures 38" at the top of the upper door panel where it meets the window. The lower part of the upper panel (where it meets the lower panel) measures 41-3/8". Hope this helps.

Last one of wiring from turn signals and clip positions. Note one of the clips appears to have been installed in the wrong hole.
