That is pretty neat to have that video. If I were you put those rallyes back on, the car looks really good with them on.

Re: WIW 71 Roadrunner 440-6 4-spd
Well it seems these cars are not very desirable. I've had mine for sale on ebay and hemmings and not one serious offer. Mine is also a V code, matching numbers car, 4 speed , hemi orange with white stripe and black bench interior. There is a blue one that sold at Mecum in 2016 for $80,000 and anothe...

Re: Tachometer wire GTX 1971
Interesting, I've never worked on a car that had both so maybe in those circumstances they did as you suggested. Maybe someone else will add some comments to this.

Re: Tachometer wire GTX 1971
Here I got my son to take a picture. I'm posting two, one shows the wiring from the dash and other from the bulkhead connector on the engine side. My finger is pointing to it. Hope this helps.

Re: Tachometer wire GTX 1971
I don't know what that is but if I remember its position #20 on the wiring diagrams. I'm not home right now, maybe tomorrow I could take a picture of the page from the shop manual. I just finished my car and that's how it was wired. No holes. The wire that connects in the bulkhead connector gets pic...

Re: Tachometer cable GTX 1971
There is no hole, the wire from the tach is plugged in to the bulkhead connector. Then you pick up the connection from the engine bay. If you look at a wiring diagram you should see it.

Re: new carpet
I just put one in from Dante's and that is the last time I ever buy a trim parts carpet. Had a hell of a time, no shape to that carpet, mine was a 4 speed with a bench seat. The carpet was not molded properly, I complained about the first one, they sent me another but it wasn't any better. So I just...
