Re: HOW DO YOU ALL FEEL ABOUT "REBODYING A CAR"

Moving VIN numbers from one car to another is a felony.

No rusty junk pile in the world is worth going to prison over.

Re: New(-er) Mopar fan in the world

Congratulations!

I have always wanted kids, but the right egg donor has not found me. Yet..........

I do have to ask, were you somehow able to place an order so his eyes matched the car?

A kid with Hemi-Orange eyes would be sweet!

The 1971 Fleet Buyer's Data Book

If you were a Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth dealership that processed Fleet Orders for the 1971 model year, Chrysler would have sent you one of these books. You will see that some of the information is repeated from the "normal" data books, but this book covers ALL 1971 Chrysler Corporation built cars...

Hey Eric,
My pleasure. Now that you know to look for it, I bet you see it fairly often.

If you see it on any 1972 or later cars, please let me know?

Depending on what piece of paper you are looking at, Windsor cars may say something like "Hamtramck Assembly".

The reason for this is that Windsor cars were invoiced out of the Hamtramck office, I have seen examples of it in dealer paperwork so far for 1970 & 1971.
