Re: How To Get The Instrument Panel Loose....

I am reviving this thread to learn more on replacing the Inst.panel. Column (floor shift) gets dropped or removed ? Metal frame ,same for 1971-1974 B Bodies ? Only Difference is with or without A/C ? I am pondering replacing mine in my '71 GTX (No A/C) The lower metal frame at the column and heater...

Re: Inherited 1972 Roadrunner/GTX 440

I have my complete build sheet in good condition. Just luck, but I removed it and kept it with the window sticker when I bought the car new. (found two other build sheets in my car too) It has a build date of June 20, 1972 which from what I understand is pretty late in the year. (the casting numbers...

Re: What happened to the Nest?

Is there any resolution, or workaround for the Photobucket site wanting $400/year for me using them to attach pictures to these boards? Will we be able to add images straight from our computers? No way I'm gonna pay Photobuced $400 a year. I know you're asking about direct uploads, which I can't he...

Re: 72 grill

I have a 72 RR which is Petty Blue. PB is not Basin Street Blue. Petty Blue is owned by Petty Enterprises. Chrysler paid Petty Ent for every PB blue car they sold, it was an option with code 999 (special order). Basin Street Blue/Super Blue is option code TB3. The PB color was used to celebrate the...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

My educated guess is that if you run 3/8 line back to the tank, and reduce it to 1/4 right at the tank fitting you will not have a problem. I have called Holley a few times about the same problem I have had with my cuda and the big cam - can't keep it idling. Each time I get a different suggestion ...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

You may want to consider something like this(see pic). You can get a npt barb fitting to screw into the middle for the return line. You will have to make a hole in the tank though. http://images1.mcmaster.com/mvA/contents/gfx/large/6696k66p1-c01dl.png?ver=1360926607 Thanks for the info. I had plann...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

I can't wait to see those pics! Is there alot of wiring that you have to do or is it just for the ecu? I like that the injectors are ontop, looks like it should be a easy bolt in solution. Was this $500 off a black friday sale? I may just pick one up next winter... Return line follow up. I investig...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

The “mystery hole” was used primarily for various optional equipment, factory and dealer installed. Installed many factory retrofit cruise control kits that incorporated a molded grommet on the harness sized for that hole back in the day. On the Dodge side, vacuum hoses or wiring for concealed head...

Re: Holley Terminator EFI

Thanks for the info. Looked into the FAST system, but at the time they recommended an in tank pump system. Didn't see the remote reservoir pump kit. Price is pretty much the same especially since Holley had a $500 off for Christmas. Since my first post I've come up with what I think will be an easy ...

Holley Terminator EFI

Just got a Holley Terminator EFI kit, with the fuel pump kit included. Been wanting to do this for a few years and they had a $500 off special...so went for it. Now that I've got it, I'm looking for someone who might have done it. One of the "sticky" issues is the fuel system. I have a '72 Road Runn...

Re: Inherited 1972 Roadrunner/GTX 440

Some advice from one who has "been there, done that, got the tee shirt"! When I restored my Road Runner, I took a similar approach. It was bone stock and I knew it since I was the only owner. That being said, I also wanted to make it a little better. So I added a Comp cam kit (lifters, rockers, push...

Re: Inherited 1972 Roadrunner/GTX 440

Been away for a while...just saw this thread. I too have a '72 Road Runner GTX, which I bought new and have owned it ever since, which means I have all the original parts. When I restored it I upgraded some stuff but kept the original parts. I'll go back through the posts and see if there's anything...
