Placed the order with Legendary. 3-4 weeks is what they said.
They didn't have seat foam; does anyone know who makes correct seat foam for a '71 bucket?
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Rear window moulding?
I didn't see one at the parts store, so I ordered from Eastwood. Do a google search to find Eastwood's website.

Re: Trim Removal - 71 GTX
I ordered the trim removal tool from Eastwood.
I'll have the door panels off, so it should be easier to remove the belt molding.
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to tackle it this weekend.

Re: Trim Removal - 71 GTX
Yes there is a molding release tool. I'll post a pic later. One end has the handle and the other looks like an arrow. You work it along under the w/s trim till get to a clip. When feel the clip you pry it away from the body and edge of the trim. While doing so gently lift the trim away. It takes so...

Trim Removal - 71 GTX
Fellas - Going to prime my 71 GTX soon, and I'm realizing that I don't know how to remove all the trim without tearing it up. Can anyone instruct me as to the proper procedures for removing drip rail trim, trim around the side windows, as well as the trim around the windshield and rear glass? Isn't ...

Re: 71 GTX - 2 Broadcast Sheets Found! One Mine, One ?
Possible, but I doubt it. Sequence number was only about 300 units apart from my car, built at the same plant (St Louis).Smellslike1974 wrote:So could your back seat not be stock?

71 GTX - 2 Broadcast Sheets Found! One Mine, One ?
Taking the interior out of my 71 GTX today and found a broadcast sheet on the back side of the upper back seat for my car. It's about 80% complete; will have to decode later today or tomorrow. It's a 2 fender tag car with original tags in place so I've got most of the info already, but it sure is ni...

Re: Seat Covers, Door Panels, Carpet 71 GTX
Here's the response from Legendary: "Front covers are $289 and the rear is $215. Carpet for this car is $150. We are having a sale on these items and the last day of the sale is tomorrow. 25% off covers and 10% off the carpet....lead time is about 3 weeks from the date of the order." Appreciate the ...

Re: Seat Covers, Door Panels, Carpet 71 GTX
Legendary is the place... Don't know why you didn't see the seat covers there, because they DO sell them! I got the black and orange interior for my RR there. They'll have the door panels too, and the carpet as well. Bruce - I saw a lot of "Satellite/Road Runner" seat covers, but only a few listed ...

Seat Covers, Door Panels, Carpet 71 GTX
Fellas - 71 GTX, black bucket interior. I'm looking for seat covers; didn't see them on Legendary's site. Does anyone know of a source for correct ones? Also need carpet and the full door panel - both have been cut in the bottom for speakers. I know Just Dashes will restore door panels, but they're ...

Ended up just cleaning it out myself. Didn't look so bad when I got it out, so I pressure washed the inside, which got most of the gunk out. Then I put a chain in there with some cleaning solution and swished it around for a while; this got most of the rest of the junk. Running pretty good now, but ...
