Re: Lowering Suspension/Wheels
I really want to avoid going that far into the aftermarket realm on this car. Rather keep the stock control arms as I've already invested 2500 in the EFI system and polygraphite front end alone. Only other mods I'll be making is the firm feel gear box and possibly a torsion bar swap. I have the 383 ...

Lowering Suspension/Wheels
Figured I'd revisit this topic after going back and looking at an old thread. After looking at pics of member Gionni's car, I was curious how you achieve that stance with a torsion bar/leaf spring suspension? I really like the look of 20 inch wheels on are cars as long there is no gap between the to...

Re: light group
My 71' Roadrunner has it. Still trying to figure out exactly what that is, I just know the A01 is on my fender tag.

Re: Performer RPM fitment
I tested out the fitment of the stock dual snorkel air cleaner on the EZ-EFI throttle body and man, when this is done, you won't be able to tell its fuel injected. The air cleaner is so large that you would have to be an expert to tell its not stock lol. So I'm guessing that running the performer rp...

Re: Curious Yellow Runner 2
fFinally started getting a lot of the parts in. I'm in the process of trying to put a boot in my old man's a** so we can get the roadrunner into the garage. As for parts, the passenger quarter panel and rear valence with exhaust cutouts came in the other day. Then today the EZ-EFI kit came in and ma...

Re: Big Block Guys
I'm going to be running the EZ-EFI kit in place of a carb and I had to buy a set of 452's from aerohead. They come with 2.14/1.81 valves and are basically a bolt on deal.
I called Hughes Engines afterwards and they recommended their 2328 cam.

Big Block Guys
I'm getting a headache from the guys over at moparts and figured I would come over here to ask this since they're getting way into details pertaining to race motors and not street driven. Basically I was going to go with a spare 69' HP 383 and 4 speed to put in place of my numbers matching 383/4 spe...

Dash Harness and Seat Foam
Ok first when I'm looking at a replacement dash harness at yearone, they have one that says "with gauges" or "without gauges". What do they mean by this? Second, I'm looking at replacement bucket seat foam and the only pair I can find are on ebay from Tamraz and they say the brand is PUI. Anyone kno...

Curious Yellow Runner 2
Well guys the time has come to finally start fully committing to the roadrunner's restoration. My 80' Malibu spun a bearing or something on new years eve and has a freight train knock and no oil pressure. I've learned as much as I possibly could off the chevy and wasting money on it. So now its park...

Re: Curious Yellow Runner
I plan on having my car blasted as well. Wow! Only 300? I was expecting something like that from most companies to be in the 1000-1500 range.

Re: Curious Yellow Runner
This thread is definately helping me out. I have to replace the passenger quarter panel due to a wreck it was in back in 76' and they fill the big ding with body fill. No rust but lots of holes from them trying to pop it out. My 71' is curious yellow too lol. Just to give me an idea, how much did yo...
