Re: Frame specs for 71
Hey Elvad, this is almost too perfect. I have a 74 that was rolled and I need to replace the roof. These measurements would be perfect. They are close enough that I'm sure they can be of use to me. should I pm you my email?

Re: Lifted rear end question
Interesting thread. I'm old skool and like the slight rake look. Plus the added mileage benefits of always going downhill :D ! I have 235-60 15's on the front and they fill the holes fine, keeping the 15 inch rallies, I plan on having the rear rims widened to accept the larger tires so I don't get t...

Re: 71 Quarters...yes, they're available!
I know that the 71/2 will not fit my 74, but what exactly are the differences. Could they still offer some sections of them that I can cut and paste to mine?

Re: Repair shop for drip rail stainless trim ?
There was a place that advertised polishing and repairing of dents in stainless trim that I saw in Mopar Collectors Guide. Maybe some of you out there can find the places name for him. I dont save back issues.

Re: 1973-74grill repaiar / resto . anyone ever do theirs ?
Seems I remember this stuff from my childhood doing models. The hobby shops carry "styrene" plastic in sheets and strips. I went online and there it was at "Tower Hobbies" and dozens of others in different thicknesses! This stuff sands easy and with some homework on adhesives and primer/paints, it w...

Re: 71 Tail Light Housing Sockets
Seems I saw this on another site. It was for a 72RR, but if the housings are the same, he used a Dorman #85806 to replace the socket, and grounded the housing.

Re: A non primer/paint clear coat?
Check out some of the "rat-rod" sites. The use of flats and rust, or "patinas" as they call them is very popular with the crowd. I'm doing my 53 rigid Harley chopper a flat black job with the flat clears. Another site, Try kustomshop or hotrodflatz. Good luck man.

Re: fender tag question ? two sets of holes ? 2 tags ?
On my 74 St Louis RR the tag is to the front. The screws are on 3-1/8" centers. Using a tape measure, I could not find the same distance between any of the other holes or dimples. The screws were very pointed, making me think they are self-tappers, and wouldn't need a hole. The two hole I do have ar...

Re: Quarter panels now available??
Overcoming this large hindrance to restoring these cars might actually increase the value of the whole line. After all, who wants cars that parts arent available for? US! I'm a 74 owner,
, but I am happy for the rest of you! happy days

I have a factory sunroof , 74 RR, currently vinyl, but I plan on making it a painted roof. Will there be any issues with the sunroof itself?

You still have your fender brace? Generally not an issue for most of our cars from the North!
