Re: 15/16/17" ?

I think 14" Wheels are too small for our cars. 15" are okey if you are going for a date correct look. I went 17" Wheels fitted with 50 profile tires. This gives a great balance I think, the Wheels fit great in the large Wheel openings.

Well, I'll just post a few pics of my Roadrunner. Went for the first drive this year after a few electrical "issues" a.k.a the infamous bulkhead connector

Re: 71Grille Retoration

Hi guys not to hi-jack the thread but I would like to ask you regarding my 71 RR-grill; It is all black plastic. I don't think it has ever been painted, just plain black plastic. No paint on the lower lip nor inside the light bezels. Is it a factory option, a factory mistake or a spare grill, etc.? ...

Re: Need Help for Export

Hi Driver I imported my car from the US to Denmark about 5 years ago. I found the car on eBay after months of searching. I then hired a Danish import company to assist in talking to the seller, arranging shipping, insurance, taxes etc. The guy is an American living in Denmark and he has been in the ...

Re: any more prototype photos from 9-11-68??

I don't know if it's any help but the Oct. 2001 issue of Collectible Automobile magazine had a great article on John Herlitz and his work at Plymouth Design. In that article there are several pictures og the 71-72 prototypes and sketches, dunno if they are the specific ones you are talking about. Ma...

Re: 1971 Show Car

Wow, thats a cool looking runner! Pearl orange metallic seems pretty modern for a 1971 showcar doesn't it? I think I have only one single photo of a Pearl orange metallic 71-72 Runner, I'll see if I can find it! It's not the 1971 show car but it still looks killer! I hope someone on the nest can she...

Re: Mopar 4-speed

Thanx for the info!

Yes I will definitely have to try a 4-speed for myself. I have driven many manual trans cars but never a real muscle car.

Mopar 4-speed

Hey guys I thought I would ask all you manual 4-speed guys if the Mopar 833 was worse than the Ford and Chevy 4-speed boxes in the 60/70'ies? The reason why I'm asking is that when I watch videos on the tube, it seems that all the Mopar cars are whining louder than the engine + the shifts are rather...

Re: A Yellow Pro Touring RR

I completely agree with you on the marker lights, Bruce! They are an original, cool design and they help disguise the front overhang.

That said, I really like the clean body. No decals or graphics. Just pure fuselage at its absolute best:-)
