Re: 1971 HEMI Road Runner
If anyone knows how to reach ILUV72RRs, let me know. He hasn't been on here in a few years. The car he mentions has surfaced and the owner would like to get broadcast sheet.

Re: What's your color?
Welcome to the Nest BTO. As Scott mentioned, I do run a registry for these cars. I can tell you that 739 SSPs were painted GW3 in 71 but the combination of body and roof colors built is not known. I have seen other white with green roof/interior cars. I would like to see photos of the car and fender...

Re: 72 Roadrunner rear window louvre
Not exactly. Dayclona is Mike Goyette and he is in Massachusetts. He helped build the 71 wing cars, but the owners Gary and Pam did most of the work. None of them live in NY. Mike did used to make the window louvers but I don't believe he does anymore. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?top...

Looking good. Curious why you're painting the screws that hold the door latch? They were not painted from the factory.

Re: Grille blackout treatment
Per the factory engineering documents for 71 plymouth B bodies, there were only 4 paint colors that were to omit the front end area backout: TX9, GB7, GF7, and GY9 (all dark colors). All others per the engineering documents should have it. Interestingly, my survivor GB7 car has the blackout.

Re: 1972 Satellite to Roadrunner.
The only thing you can get from the VIN number is (as you mentioned) the build plant, and the engine.
Yes, road runners were built with bench seats and column shift.

I'll try to remember to take a photo of my original jack/trunk when I get home. Base and mechanism are a light gray as already mentioned.
