How nice = what price? (My Road Runner is on eBay now)

Not trying to sell this car, here. But the point I'm making is - well - I'm sure I'll hear from some people that price is high. But read the listing - I mean - they can't ALL be $19k cars, right? At what point is it 'nice enough' that justifies a higher price? I'm not even scratching the surface of ...

Really great images - thank-you for your efforts.

Frankly, I don't think these cars lend themselves well to being a convertible. The fastback roof is too important of a design feature.

Again, my thanks for your effort. That van cracks me up every time I see it.

Now THIS is an ORIGINAL crowd! I like these ideas!

Anybody can walk into a car dealer and plunk down a chunk of change ona fancy car. But it takes original thought to come up with some of these ideas.

Actually, that's what a fair amount of owners do. They open the door, sit on the ledge, and (try to) drive holding the pedals and the wheel from the side. Looks utterly ridiculous to me, just preening and attention-getting. I had to actually parallel-park a few times and while tricky, any fairly com...

So I'm going to try and research a bit more, but thanks to the input here I'm leaning toward sorting out this motor. Crank is fine, new purple cam, many new parts inside the motor. New roller rockers and lifters, etc. So if it's heads then I'll do heads.

Can't wait to get out and drive it.

You probably wouldn't wish you had one, after actually getting it. Like a boat (can be), the 2 best days are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Now THAT car - I researched and looked for - hard. Over 4 months and 3 PPI's (Pre-purchase inspection - you have to pay pro between $400 and $1100)...

Thanks

I really appreciate all of the input, guys. You know, I've been reading this forum off-and-on for years, but in earnest the past few months. A Black/Black '72 Road Runner is my all-time favorite car. It started when I saw Daisy Dukes driving a yellow Satellite Sebring on the first episodes of Dukes ...

Advice please - Black/Black '71 Road Runner with HEMI Motor

Hey guys - Long-time lurker here, thanks for all of the informative posts and info. About 4 months ago, I purchased my all-time favorite car - a Black/Black 1971 Plymouth Road Runner. Car was bought without my actually going to see it because of my work schedule. It's an interesting bird, a REAL Bla...
