Cool project!
Just checking in after a long absence, and it's nice to see new stuff still coming out. Even nicer to see another Canadian GY9 car.
I look forward to seeing more of it.

Can anyone provide information on where to get a fender tag re made? I have the build sheet for the Cuda, as well as all the original door decals, and original serial number on all panels. For some reason someone removed the fender tag at some point in its life. I'd love to put it back on if I could...

Another tip on this..... To make sure the new nut is centered on the hole. Once you have it roughly in place with the magnet, spin a length of threaded rod, or a long bolt into the nut. Then you can hold the nut centered on the hole while you weld it. Probably don't need to say this, but.... be sure...

FWIW.... My father has been rebuilding engines for a living for over 40 years, and for the last 4 years or so has built pretty much exclusively Mopar power plants. I can tell you for a fact that you will not have a problem boring a later model 400 or 440 to at least .040. As a matter of fact, the bl...

It's finally done!!!! The car has just finished it's inspection, and I'm picking up the licence plates in about 30 minutes. Here's some pics from this week when the appraiser came by, and I'll be updating my web site in the next few weeks with more detailed shots. I linked a couple of shots o...

Extremely good information! I was not aware of the potential problems with copper. That said, I've always used steel replacement lines that are treated with a rust protective coating on the outside. They don't look quite the same as original, but they don't rust the same either. As far as the double...

He he... Ya Right, Fun. Actually the brake lines are the easiest to make, just be sure that you double flare on brake lines. Single flaring will not seal properly. Now Fuel and Vapor lines.... Those are fun. You have to go slow or the line can kink on you really easy. I'm not sure how much eas...

This is a pretty common problem. When I restored my Satellite, and Cuda I had at least one nut on each car that tore loose when I broke the bracket bolts loose. I fixed mine by drilling a couple of small holes on either side of the original bolt hole. Then I stuck a nut on a magnet and push it up to...

Thanks lots for the suggestion yesterday. I pulled the door switch out as soon as I got home, and didn't find that any wires were touching the body. However, there was a slight bend in the movable post in the door switch. I straightened it out, and the problem was instantly solved. I think the bend ...
