Re: Parts for sale
Alright, time for me to clear some things up. The person on Moparts is NOT me!! I am the ORIGINAL 71rm23. Been known as that YEARS before "rr6pak" decided to use this name over there. I have been getting a few e-mails questioning my parts over there, the supposedly difficulty with payment, and why I...

Re: 1971 Tachometer
An 8k tachometer was not an option on '71 B-bodies. I can not speak for seeing one in a magazine. I have run across MANY '71's with the tack option--many with the super-trak-pak option, ALL were 7k units. Even owned an early build date one (2nd week production) 7k unit.

Re: 71 plymouth satellite sunroof cars made
O.K. guys, I have been trying to lay in a decent amount of various Sunroof parts for the electric powered ones. Been doing them a LONG time now. Just contact me with your needs and I will see if I can help. As said, these parts are EXTREMELY difficult to come by. I have been having some stuff reprod...

Re: 1971 Hemi RR goes for 100K+ on Barrett Jackson
Yes, most of the high dollar cars change hands secretly, with most people not aware. Are some worth $150k or more? Depends on how bad you want it. There are just a handful of what I would deem HIGHLY desirable 1971 B-bodies. Of course, what I think is desirable is probably way different than somebody...

Re: 1971 Hemi RR goes for 100K+ on Barrett Jackson
I would agree with Eric only as far as THIS car was concerned--the price was fairly accurate. I think other Hemi or Six Pack equipped cars more uniquely optioned will do better. And I do agree that Barrett is probably not the right venue for the 1971 Plymouth B-bodies. However, being as I knew of th...

Re: New to the nest
Hi Darrel,
Glad you finally made it over to the 'Nest. I think you remember me--Fellow Sunroof enthusiast. Met you at Carlisle a few years back. I had the 71 GTX FJ6 sunroof 4-spd car. We talked at some length. Stay in touch good stuff on this site when you start on the Satellite!

What color is your Glove Box liner--mostly to 71's
O.K. this will be my first question ever posted to the members here. Eric and I have been communicating with each other on this subject. Now we both seem to think the 72-74's all came with the "Clear" liner. I am more curious as to what all the 71's have for glove box liners---Clear or Black. Please...

I agree, Just Dashes is probably the best out there. They are quite pricey, but I am not aware of any other competitor that comes close.

Re: Power steering conversion from manual
Only recommendation I can provide here is that there IS a difference between the Power steering column shaft and the Manual steering shaft. Find an actual Power steering column from a 1974 model. All you really need is the internal shaft. This can be swapped with your manual shaft in your current co...

Re: can anyone decode these #s and markings please
I read through this post. Eric sent me an e-mail to see if I could help. First off, I am NOT an expert on the 73's--barely know enough on these to try and be helpful. However, there are similarities between these and the 71's that MAY help. Eric is correct on the "J" designating the model year 1973....
