Re: New member from Caraquet N.B. Canada
Very nice. Really like the fact that you are keeping it the original colour. They can't all be red or purple....

Re: 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus 400-4BBL
Looks great. I have the same interior. You went the extra mile with yours and from what I can see, it looks excellent. I get a lot of comments about how hard it is to keep a white interior clean but to be honest, it isn't that bad. Yeah you don't want to get all greasy and then just jump in and go ...

Re: 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus 400-4BBL
Hi, Just a small update and to add to the collective reference data. My car (an on-going 20-year rolling resto-mod of an originally solid car) is finally nearing completion, or as much as I want to do to it for now. I could never do a full frame off (I work full-time overseas) so the plan was to do ...

Re: 2 Tone 72 RR and the 72 Option and Accessory Report
No, by all means take it back to original. I have a color combo that I have never been 'completely' happy with and have been tempted (many times) to redo the scheme, but I finally decided to keep it the original build and there are fewer and fewer original spec cars left as years go by. Input from R...

Re: Satellite vs Roadrunner
Hi This is what I think. Always been a Mopar fan and especially like the ‘71~72 Herlitz-body Satellite / RR coupe with the loop grille as this epitomizes early ‘70s muscle (to me, anyway). This B-body is not everyone’s cup of tea which probably explains why it is still possible to them up relatively...

Re: Decode Question
Thanks, that makes sense. Final question - what would be the best way to find out how many cars were produced with my options + colour combo?
Thanks,
Ian B.
Thanks,

Re: Decode Question
Hi Scott / Eric,
Thanks for explaining the paint codes - I was wondering why there was no code for the Argent Silver on the lower body. Just out of interest, why was the door frame colour keyed to the interior colour?
Thanks,
Ian B.

Re: Decode Question
Hi, Thanks for all your feedback. Oh well, it's a factory correct E68 now :) and indistinguishable from original (just the data-plate). Also it looks like the M33 is the body side moldings. Another small change I will make is to get the body-shop to do the M33 in coach-line tape to differentiate the...

Re: Decode Question
Thanks for your responses. Here is a temporary shot of the fender tag (Will take it back down again later as the car is secure). http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj158/Dixiesatellite/23717846-620f-4ffd-892f-9ea9784416f4_zpsd363b693.jpg Definitely an E63 and the other codes check out. Re: Decode Question
Hi Bruce, Thanks very much for checking. So the Spinnaker White is good. Still a little surprised about the E63 as spreadbore manifold and TQ is an original install. Maybe dealer install? Doesn't matter now as the original numbers engine was rebuilt and ported and has a new TQ, making 308 HP now :) ...

Decode Question
Hi, I have a quick decode question. I have searched back through the forum threads, but don't seem to be able to find the answer. I am restoring my '72 SSP to original factory Spinnaker White and Argent Silver (thanks for all your input - helped a lot) and am trying to nail down some final details. ...
