72 Roadrunner 440

Three questions on the 72 Roadrunners. If the car is a 440 and doesn't have an airgrabber was there an engine call out on the hood? Was there GTX emblems on the car and if so where? How many 440/GTX Roadrunners were produced? Thanks Dave

71 GTX molding question

Did all 71 GTX's have rocker moldings? I have seen pictures with them and some without them. I am buying a nicely restored 71 that I don't think has them. I have a 71 Roadrunner it doesn't have them and I know that is normal Thanks

body colored louvers

Okay if the car is In-violet the window louvers could have been the body color but The fc7 cars did not have painted bumpers? I know the 71 Chargers in that color had that as an option but not the Roadrunners? I have seen quite a few 71 Roadrunners in purple with elastomeric bumpers but are they not...

Window louvers close to a new owner

I am in the process of buying a 71 In-violet Roadrunner. Haven't seen it and doing everything by phone. What is the color of the rear window louvers? Were they all black or would they be in the body color? Thanks

71 Roadrunner

Thanks for the reply. I have a few cars now and have wanted a 71-72 Roadrunner for sometime. I called a guy who finds cars for me and he mentioned it. I'll probably know more tomorrow. The car is Plum Crazy and it is out west. As I've looked at pictures today you can tell there is a difference betwe...

Roadrunner bumpers

I know the bumpers are elastomeric if painted. I was told today that there were two types of elastomeric bumpers. The one having more of a beak. I have never heard this before and it may be misinformation. Thanks for the reply & it just maybe it has a correct elastomeric front bumper.

71 Roadrunner front bumpers

I have never seen but have been told that there was a 71 front bumper (painted) that had a beak on it. Does anyone have a car with this or have heard of this? I am trying to buy a car and have been told it has this different styled front painted bumper. Thanks Dave
