I think RTSpecialties is the place for the clips. $1.50 ea, guy on the phone knew exactly what I needed. I tried the ones listed on ebay. they were too narrow and wouldn't ...

Re: finishing touches

Thank you Eric,
Any idea who has the molding clip?

I am trying to get this thing done for the local Labor Day rod run/car show. I think I might make it!

Wheel moldings

Are any of the repo wheel moldings worth buying? seems to be a bunch of them out there now, all in the 300-325 range. Must all be made by the same mfg? I remember Layson's (I think) that had a warning about the quality right in the product description. I need all 4, of course. NOS set was on EPay, a...

I have found a couple cracks in the plastic callouts on the hood. What is a good repair for these? There are three attaching studs that have twisted out of the plastic that need repair too. Perhaps epoxy some studs in?

Re: Front valance

Thats what I'm talkinabout!
Mine will be similar, but with a callout hood and black top.
I need to find wheel mouldings. They add that finishing touch, even to your drawing.
Nice work!

Re: Front valance

They did have them in stock, I did already order one. I hope the quality is there, sales guy says everyone has been happy with them. Also mentioned that they were a "authentic resto part", similar to AMD's claim. I didn't ask if it was an AMD part.
