1971 Plymouth Road Runner
383 / Auto
Owned 2000
This is one of those right place, right time, right price type of deals.  It's an interesting piece, Sherwood Green with a gold strobe stripe and light gold interior.  Probably pretty cool looking when it was new.  Typical northern car with the outer sheetmetal rot, but with a VERY solid structure.  At one point in this car's life, someone had painted the entire bottom of the car with very thick white paint.  Even though it looked completely stupid (IMHO), the paint did serve to keep the bottom car in excellent condition.  There are only a couple of small patches needed, one in the drivers floor area and the other in the passenger outer wheel house.  The 383 under the hood is stuck, probably from sitting.  The last PA inspection sticker on the car expired in 1984.  We haven't had any luck getting the motor to budge at all.  It's really not that big of a loss, it's not the #'s matching block anyway.  That terrible 70's "barf colored" shag carpet is gone, and I've got nice new CORRECT carpet in now.

I've recently realized that I just have too many irons in the fire right now, so I'm going to have to let this one go to a new home.  It will make someone a very soild starting point for a project.
