1971 Plymouth GTX
440/Auto/4.10 Dana
Owned (sort-of) 2000

An original EV2 Tor Red A34 Super Track Pack 440/Auto GTX with 49,000 miles.  The motor and everything from the engine bay was out of the car while the car waited in another garage to have it's engine bay repainted (it was supposedly starting to look a little tired).  The garage holding the GTX suffered a garage fire, and the GTX suffered extensive fire damage.  It is going to need quarters, roof, hood, fenders, decklid, header panel, a complete interior, and all the glass.  It's definatly toasted pretty good.  The only three things saving this car from being parted out are the fact it's completely rust free, I was able to aquire the complete numbers matching driveline (yea, a really clean 49K mile 440 that's complete and unmolsested), and that it's 1 of only 187 GTX's built with the A34 Super Track Pak.  It also came with the window sticker, original Bill of Sale, and the complete owner's manual packet.

It's a long story, but I really never took posession of this one.  When I put a deposit on the car, I knew I needed to let go of one of my other cars, (hopefully the F7 Green Road Runner) before I could get this one.  Well, to make a long story short, I didn't get anything sold in time, and I wound up having to pass on it.  Guess this one is my "the one that got away" story.
