1967 Dodge Sportsman Wagon (A100)
Brochure

Ok, so it's not a 71-74 B-body, but it is the type of van I'm using as a parts chaser right now.
I've always thought the A100 (and A108) vans were really cool looking.
Matter of fact, I remember my dad having a '68 many years ago

THIS COULD BE THE PERFECT CAR FOR YOUR FAMILY

It takes real class to buy a wagon as roomy as this. Dodge thinks it's time you got a little class back in the bargain. So instead of a plain box on wheels that's very practical but very blah, the Dodge Sportsman Wagon is more like the family car you're used to in its styling flair, its comfort, its handling, and its get-up-and-go. You get two smart-looking and comfortable bucket seats up front, for example, plus a bench seat in back. (A second bench seat is optional.) With the rear seats out, there's twice as much cargo space as in a regular station wagon. And every thing rides on a sturdy but smooth suspension with Oriflow shocks. To move the family and its fun equipment, take your pick of three husky Dodge engines, including a snappy optional V8 that runs on regular gas and is the most powerful V8 in the Sportsman wagons field. The Sportsman also has a heavy-duty rear axle, large brakes, 15-inch wheels and tires, a fully insulated engine compartment, and a large 21 gallon fuel tank as standard equipment. With all this going for you, it may come as a surprise that the Dodge Sportsman wagon is still one of the lowest priced wagons in its field. That's where our engineers showed their class.

BUY A SPORTSMAN EQUIPPED AS A CAMPING HOME

If the space and snap of a Dodge Sportsman are beginning to appeal to you, consider this fact. A Sportsman equipped with a camper conversion and an expanding roof-top for stand-up head room is priced about the same as some medium-priced cars. And the price includes beds and bunks for four, dinette, and kitchen facilities (stove, sink with running water, plus icebox or refrigerator). The expanding roof-top flips up in seconds and folds down into a low silhouette. Think of the convenience in setting up camp. You just park your Sportsman, raise the roof, and you're all set. And think of the fun of a camper Sportsman at other family doings, such as picnics, football games, and on those short holiday trips when motels are all booked-up. Meanwhile back at the ranch home, your camper Sportsman doubles as a family car, using the dinette seats for passengers and floor space for cargo. For extra big hauling jobs, some of the conversions are even arranged so you can remove most of the camper items and store them in your basement. There seems to be no limit to what American ingenuity can do when you give it enough space. The kind of space you get in a Dodge Sportsman Wagon.

THE TWO VERSIONS OF THE DODGE SPORTSMAN WAGON
SPORTSMAN. This is our lower-priced version. Seat upholstery in this Sportsman version is a durable, dark and medium gray vinyl. A black rubber floor mat is included in the drivers compartment. The interior of the body and instrument panel are color keyed to the exterior color you select from a choice of ten for the Sportsman Wagon. Both versions of the wagon include two, contoured, foam-filled bucket seats up front as standard, plus an intermediate bench seat as seen through the doors. The rear bench seat is optional. With the rear seats out, load capacity on the Sportsman is 1,500 lbs. and 1,440 lbs. on the Custom Sportsman. An optional Heavy-Duty Package boosts the load capacity to about a ton on each one - 2,000 lbs. on the Sportsman, 1,960 lbs. on the Custom Sportsman. That's a load regular station wagons can't come close to matching.  CUSTOM SPORTSMAN. This is our luxury version. Seat upholstery in the Custom Sportsman is luxurious golden tan and charcoal brown vinyl. The rest of the interior is color-keyed to this attractive combination, including fiberglass and vinyl panels on the inside of the body, and custom floor mats in both front and rear compartments. Other standard interior features are: cigar lighter, ashtrays in rear compartment, spare tire cover, oil pressure gauge, and bright finish horn ring and instrument panel trim. Outside, the Custom Sportsman has bright-finish front and rear bumpers as well as bright-finish belt, drip, and windshield mouldings, hubcaps, and left-side mirror. Four handsome exterior colors are available on the Custom Sportsman: White, Golden Tan Metallic, Bermuda Turquoise Metallic and Fawn Beige.

TWO MORE REASONS WHY YOU'LL LIKE THE DODGE SPORTSMAN WAGON

1. THE SPACE YOU SAVE IN YOUR GARAGE
With all its roominess, the Dodge Sportsman Wagon comes out four feet shorter than a full-size car. That leaves you enough extra room in your garage for a workbench, your yard tractor, or a lot of other things you couldn't get into the garage before. It also means the Sportsman fits into smaller parking places around town. Getting in and out of these parking spots is a breeze, too, with the Sportsman's nimble 90-inch wheelbase. (It's even shorter than the wheelbase of our compact Dodge Dart.) Which all goes to show that there's absolutely no squeeze with a Dodge Sportsman Wagon, inside or out.
