I've always wanted a car from the year of my birth, and when this old car came along cheap it was CLOSE enough. Only one year older than me. It ran pretty good but needed a complete restoration. After having it a while, and doing a little body work on it, I came to the conclusion that restoring it would take a LOT more than I was willing to put into it. And then Road Runner #2 came along. So I sold the New Yorker and bought RR #2.
