I was definite that this time it had to be an R/T, but it was icing on the cake that this one was an RT/SE! I've come full circle! The previous owner had started the restoration (in his own way), but had fallen on hard times and had to sell. The car had also been moved from place to place in this state, and a few parts had been lost in the process. It was the car's current unfinished and incomplete condition that kept it affordable enough for me.
I'll be completely starting over with the car, and doing a total restoration, but it ought to be fun! So far I've just been slowly acquiring the parts it needs, and tinkering on it here and there.
The pics show the state
of the storage building it was in--we had to clean out the WHOLE thing
to make sure I had ALL the parts, in tow with the D150 (with black topper!)
at a rest stop on the way home, and how she looks now that she's home.
The trip to get her was a real adventure!
